Montclare Senior Residences of Lawndale achieves LEED Silver rating!

Montclare Senior Residences of Lawndale has achieved a Silver rating for LEED!

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the most widely used green building rating system in the world, and provides a framework to create healthy, highly efficient and cost-saving green buildings. LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement.

Key green features of Montclare Senior Residences of Lawndale include Energy Star-rated high-reflectance roof membranes, high efficiency LED lighting, the use of low-VOC interior paints and materials, and emphasis on energy efficiency in insulation and mechanical systems. With the implementation of numerous high-efficiency design features, utility bills are kept lower for residents in comparison to projects that do not meet these same standards, and an overall healthy living environment is achieved.

WJW is proud to have been a team member on this sustainable project!
