Diane Baker is a graduate of Cornell University. Prior to forming William Worn Architects with co-founder William Worn, Diane had extensive experience in the contract interiors industry. She founded and was Director of the Contract Division of Crate and Barrel in Northbrook, Illinois. She left that position to found a new company: Design Access, a Chicago-based interior products company. She ran Design Access for ten years providing products for Marriott hotels, John Nuveen and Company, Sara Lee Corporation, Coopers and Lybrand, and AON Corporation among others.
Diane has been an active Board Member of the Illinois Housing Council since 2010 and serves on the Executive Committee as Secretary. In 2016, she was appointed to the Illinois Housing Task Force by the IHDA Executive Director with approval of the Governor of Illinois. Ms. Baker is also past president of the Cornell Club of Chicago, a member of the Cornell University Council, and on the President’s Council of Cornell Women. Her primary role at Worn Jerabek Wiltse Architects is client relations and marketing.
