William Worn has accepted the position of Associate Director for Graduate Studies at the University of Illinois, School of Architecture. In this role, Bill will be responsible for graduate admissions, curriculum and recruiting.

Heidi and Elizabeth volunteered recently with the Barbie “I can be…” event hosted by Chicago Public Schools and AIA. Each worked with groups of CPS students (2nd and 3rd graders) to develop their own “Barbie Dream House” plan, learn about women architects, and learn what an architect does.
Heidi and Albert volunteered with Architecture for Humanity to run a community design charrette kicking off the design planning process for a non-profit Arts Center in Old Town. Todd and Heidi attended the grand opening of The Jackson Renaissance last week. This project consists of two buildings, an existing historic structure and a new addition with connecting link. The existing building, built in 1893, originally housed a public elementary school, Jackson School No. 6.
The first tenants have begun to move into units under the Home First Illinois project. Home First Illinois provides affordable, community-based housing for people with disabilities transitioning from institutions.
